This is the first in a series of Asian family-style dinners hosted by tablehopper, who chose chefs to cook their soul food and favorite dishes they enjoy at home. The first chef is Rob Lam (Butterfly) who is an extraordinary Vietnamese chef, and will be offering a soigné spin (hello king crab!) on authentic Vietnamese dishes. Prepare to feast! We'll be pairing many wines from Portugal's Vinho Verde, and sommelier and wine expert Eugenio Jardim will be sharing insight about the wines and region.

Oc Rieu: Periwinkle Shots, Nuoc Cham Foam, Vietnamese Cilantro Goi Cuon: Vietnamese Spring Roll with Smoked King Crab, Brokaw Ranch Avocado, Brooks and Daughters Sprouts Cha Gio Vit: Fried Duck Confit Spring Rolls, Honey Mustard Sauce Du Du Luon Xao: Green Papaya and Mango Salad, Vietnamese Caramelized Eel (paired with Quinta da Raza and Casa de Vilacetinho)

Banh Tom Co Ngu: Sweet Potato, Rock Shrimp and Salt Cod Tempura/Fritter Banh Xeo: Pork Belly and King Crab Crêpe (paired with Soalheiro Avesso or Arinto, and Anselmo Mendes Avesso or Arinto)
Third Course
Cha Ca Thang Long: Turmeric Grilled Catfish with Rice Noodles and Herbs Salad Bun Cha Ha Noi: BBQ Pork Hanoi-Style (with Rice Noodles, Nuoc Cham, and Herbs) (paired with Soalheiro Alvarinho and Anselmo Mendes Alvarinho)
Fourth Course
Bun Bo Hue: Spicy Lemongrass Oxtail Stew, Hodo Soy Soft Tofu, Micro Shiso Com Thap Cam: Clay Pot Broken Jasmine Rice (paired with two wines from Vinho Verde)
