In-Person
Inspired by the bustling Pozolerias of Mexico City, Sean and I wanted to share this classic corn and pork stew with our Portland friends. Soon enough, we were exploring Mexican comfort foods and their cultural significance on the breakfast table. Armed with family recipes, we will be sharing some of our favorite Mexican comfort brunch foods.

Tamales
Small Plate
Savory tamales filled with green chile and cheese and red chile pork. We finish our tamales on the fire for a smoky flavor.

Sweet empanadas filled with caramel and pecans. This recipe was inspired by the empanadas made by Marysol's grandmother for many years. Leche quemada literally translates to "burned milk".
