It's that time of year and we are super excited about stone fruit, local corn and varieties of heirloom tomatoes and eggplants. Mägo offers unique Northern Californian cuisine that is simple food using innovate, inventive techniques and high quality ingredients.

Menu detail

A variety of olives are warmed through with garlic confit, grapes, chilies and fennel seed.
Corn churros with plums and lovage
Small Plate
Sweet corn churros are tossed with lovage sugar and served with a sour plum puree.
Summer eggplant, pumpkin seed oil and miso
Small Plate
A variety of summer eggplants are simmered in a broth made from miso, toasted grains and lemon thyme. It's chilled and served over silken tofu with a drizzle of toasted pumpkin seed oil.
Charred headcheese salad, peaches and cashew
Small Plate
Pork head from Marin Sun Farms is grilled and then slowly simmered with hot chilies and thyme, it's sliced and mixed a variety of peaches, cilantro, lime and toasted cashews. The dish is served with a warm buttermilk biscuit.
Cavatelli with heirloom tomatoes, crushed garden leaves
Small Plate
Heirloom tomatoes are braised down in a garlic skin dashi. Handmade cavatelli pasta is finished with a variety of leaves (basil, oregano, shiso and sweet potato greens) that are crushed with sweet garlic cloves and pecorino.
King salmon, peppers, roasted chicken drippings
Local king salmon is served with a variety of market peppers that are grilled and preserved in their own juices. The fish is glazed with roasted chicken juices, caramelized onions and brown butter.
Apple & honey
Warm honey cake served with early season apples, an ice cream made from chestnut honey and drizzled with a apple cider reduction.
