And this dinner offers you dishes from two of them, Chennai and Coastal Mangalorean (Udupi) Cuisine. Chennai food is spicy, has bold flavors and Udupi food is mild spiced, sweeter tone and mellow flavors. These two cuisines balance each other. And the dinner menu offers you, unique, authentic dishes, that has balance of spices, flavor and nutrition. Good for singles,couples, families and groups. Beetroot Rasam

Add a dash of color to your day with beetroot rasam, a spicy, tangy soup made of pureed beets and garlic, sauteed in clarified butter, infused with a concoction of tamarind, jaggery and spices.

A savoury steamed cake made using fermented stone-ground batter of de-husked black lentils and rice. This is accompanied by coconut chutney, a sauce made with fresh coconut, ginger and green chillies. Medium spice.
Raw mango Chitranna with Raita
Entree
Be they ripe or raw, mangoes are popular in Mangalore. Used in curries, chutneys and several dessert dishes, the king of fruits is always popular in the coastal city. One such dish is the zesty, tangy, raw mango chitranna and an entree made of steamed rice, and unripened mango. Served with a side of raitha, a yogurt dish made with chopped cucumber and onions and subtly flavored with cumin. Contains peanuts.
Millet Uthappam & Sambar

A thick pancake made with fermented batter and made calcium rich by mixing Ragi (finger millet) and topped with fresh grated vegetables. Served with sambar, a lentil stew made with vegetables, lentils that is cooked with tamarind and aromatic spices.
