Originally from Oklahoma, I began my foray in liquid delights long ago. My first job was in a small tea shop working behind the counter. Eventually my path led into coffee, and then finally found my true love: the restaurant. I find the crescendo of bustle in the dining room mesmerizing. I worked my way through the ranks, soaking up each and every position. When I began to pursue my path through the Court of Master Sommeliers, I shifted my career entirely to wine, and never looked back. Wine is a living breathing thing, a very human commodity. Each bottle has its own story to tell.
