Barkada: a Filipino term we use to describe the people we hold closest.
Join my Barkada as we visit the "Turo Turo" Filipino restaurants of my youth. Turo Turo means point-point. Growing up in Southern California, we had many Turo Turo Filipino restaurants. Food would be in chafing dishes behind the counter and you point at what food you wanted.
Entertainment provided by the musical stylings of Mr. Jon Amado.
