BIO

I grew up in Caracas and lived for many years in Miami before settling in New York. I host Venezuelan-inspired pop-up dinners and teach cooking classes to spread out the word about the food I love. This project is highly driven and inspired by local producers and the similarities that I have encountered between North and South American cuisines, especially in the use of different varieties of corn.

I love spending hours in the kitchen preserving and even planting my own food. I am also a casual food stylist, recipe tester and developer. When I'm not behind the stove, you can probably find me looking for inspiration at farmers’ or flea markets, or planting herbs and heirloom tomatoes.
