As an undergraduate at Yale, I studied the role of food and language in the formation of identity. After four years of cooking at Gramercy Tavern EMP, I set off to learn about my favorite world cuisines, staging and eating my way through various countries, and searching for local grandmas to show me what cooking and life are really all about. I currently run a kitchen studio and culinary event space in Brooklyn, the Living Kitchen Studio.
