ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. Prior to your class, you will receive an email with a private link to join the livestream on YouTube during the specified day and time. Your host will message it to you so be on the lookout! --- Chef Serigne Mbaye was born in the United States but when he was 5 his parents sent him back to their native Senegal for boarding school. In recent years, he has cooked at Commander's Palace and Café Adelaide, where he was a sous chef and then San Francisco’s Atelier Crenn. This year he was awarded the Paul McIlhenny Culinary Scholarship at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, where he holds regular pop-up dinners exploring the connections between the foods of Louisiana and West Africa.
