My mom is one of the best cooks I've ever met. A lot of what I know about Middle Eastern cooking, I learned from her. These are all meals that she cooked for me growing up in Saudi and Dubai. I might've added little touches here and there, but the flavors are authentic and not like the food in any Middle Eastern restaurant you've ever been to.

Grilled ground lamb, figs ( if available) toasted Turkish bread soaked in garlicky tomato sauce, yogurt, mint and finished with better.

Fall of the bone lamb shoulder, vadouvan saffron rice, caramelized onions, raisins and dried sour berries, heirloom tomato salsa and cucumber yogurt. Cut might change based on quality and availability (grilled vs roasted)
