Welcome to the next installment of Keep The Future Flavorful, a series of free virtual cooking classes featuring artisanal plant-based meats and cheeses from Field Roast (www.fieldroast.com). In this class, you’ll learn how to make pan-fried gyoza and apple ponzu dipping sauce with chef Mutsuko Soma, chef-owner of Kamonegi and Hannyato in Seattle.
Field Roast is donating a total of $250,000 to chefs featured in the series to help them recover from the economic impacts of COVID-19. Chef Soma plans to use the money to rehire staff and upgrade her restaurant space to make it even more comfortable for new and returning guests.
You can help #SaveRestaurants by emailing Congress — it only takes a minute. Join us in demanding they create an Independent Restaurant Revitalization Fund to help independent restaurants get through this crisis (www.saverestaurants.com/take-action).
ChefsFeed will match all donations up to $25,000. Donate below to support the Independent Restaurant Coalition (IRC) and we will double it! Your contribution will go towards our fight to save local, independent restaurants affected by COVID-19 across the country.
