BIO

Nora Furst, originally from Seattle, has spent the last 8 years in San Francisco, she cut her teeth as bar manager at Lolinda and beverage consultant for Belga and Delarosa (both Downtown and Marina locations). In 2016 she was nominated Bartender of the Year by 7x7 Magazine. More recently, as partner and beverage director, she opened Uma Casa Restaurant in San Francisco's Noe Valley alongside chef Telmo Faria. Pre-Pandemic, she was tending bar at True Laurel and California Gold. She currently has a consulting group, West Beverage Consulting, and is working on a brick and mortar in SF, as well as a canned spritz company. She is on the judging panel for the San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as the Bartender Spirits Awards.
