ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. Prior to your class, you will receive an email with a private link to join the livestream on YouTube during the specified day and time. Your host will message it to you so be on the lookout! --- We will be covering easy-to-make pantry cocktails for slow sipping that will help you transcend space and time with special guest Chris Lane. Chris and Nora will walk you through some of their favorite slow sippers, highlighting techniques and tricks for home tending. Chris and Nora have rubbed shoulders in their Bay Area bartending careers for the last 8 years. They first met at Lolinda in the Mission where they both were part of the opening team. Over the past many years, they've been slinging drinks in award-winning bars, talking shi* and generally pushing each other to be better at what they do. Chris has been working in the bay area bar community for nearly seventeen years. He has spent time in dusty Oakland dives, venerable Berkeley neighborhood spots, and nationally recognized cocktail bars on each side of the Bay Bridge. Most recently, he has been working along side his friends at Prizefighter in Emeryville while consulting on various bar projects around the bay. Chris' drinks have been published in book and articles alike including: Imbibe, The SF Chronicle, and Food and Wine Magazine. His favorite cocktails are enjoyed at a dimly lit bar, accompanied by conversation and a few laughs with loved ones. For more info about Nora, check out "About the Host" at the bottom of this page.
