Back with another pairing menu featuring 4 varieties from the garden of Sonoma grower, Augustus Manly. We will pass around vaporizers before each course and then pair food to the terpenes of the variety. These are a great deal of fun, with everyone getting buzzed and well fed through the evening. A very social gathering with a few communal tables.
21+ only for this one and it is an alcohol free evening.
Menu detail
Riptide and Spring Rolls
Appetizer
A perky sativa dominant strain will begin the evening. Come in, get seated, meet who you are sitting near and the vaporizer will be passed your way. Its black tea and mango notes inspired us to offer spring rolls with fried tempeh, rice noodles, mango and fresh herbs to start the evening's food. A tea based dipping sauce to accompany.
Hot sauces always on the tables
Unnamed + pizza
Small Plate
Augustus has a variety he has crossed, another Sativa dominant hybrid. The notes of thyme and crust will go with Sicilian pizza made with my own sourdough crust, heirloom tomato sauce, fresh herbs, caramelized onions and a cashew based mozzarella made by my friend Miyoko (Miyoko's creamery.)
Master Kush and burger, fries and root beer
Entree
Master Kush is an indica strain that tastes like root beer! Some homemade root beer will obviously go with this course. And some bean-veggie-grain burgers with pretzel rolls, homemade mustard, homemade ketchup, homemade pickles, greens and of course some fries will be coming out of the fryer!
Royal Phoenix and Ice Cream Sundaes
Dessert
Royal Phoenix is another wonderfully aromatic and flavorful sativa from Augustus's garden. Apple and cinnamon notes are very dominant!
We will end the meal with homemade waffle bowls filled with cinnamon ice cream, ginger ice cream, spiced apples and maple walnuts and coconut whipped cream.
