We are celebrating Chanukah with Jewish food and Jewish music for this event on the series! Will be preparing some of the amazing dishes I first had in my grandma's and Aunt Rose's kitchen, including latkes, golumpke, ruggelach and more. This will be a celebration of Ashkenazi pride in sound, taste and spirit. All are welcome to share this! Dan Cantrell- accordion Jason Ditzian - clarinet

Concert: Dan Cantrell and Jason Ditzian
Entree
Dan Cantrell- accordion and Jason Ditzian - clarinet 2 friends of mine who are brilliant musicians, both deeply involved in the Bay Area klezmer scenes. Virtuosity is always on display on the "stage" for my dinner/concerts. This is Dan's 5th time on the series and finally I am getting Jason to admit he is "good enough" to play on this series
ruggleach and ice cream
Dessert
ruggelach are a family tradition. My Aunt Rose and my sister Barbie were truly masters of this incredible pastry. Over the years, I have veganized their recipe. 'The dough is traditionally made with butter and cream cheese and the filling is the same: dried fruit, jam, nuts and spices. Ice cream flavor tea
