This is the 24th monthly ramen menu on my 12 year long series of underground restaurant dining! For 2 full years, now we have offered homemade noodles in a variety of bowls. This month is a miso ramen bowl with Gai lan, tempeh, mushrooms and sprouts,. Homemade tofu with seaweed salad starts the night and an ice cream sundae completes the meal.

Homemade Tofu and seaweed salad
Small Plate
Freshly made tofu, with a variety of seaweeds, mizuna, radish and an umbehoshi dressing
Miso ramen bowl
A thick broth with miso and pumpkin seeds with homemade noodles, fried tempeh (from Rhizocali, a few blocks away), gar lan, pickled sprouts and stir fried wood ears and shiitake.

Citrus Semolina Cake
A lemon semolina cake that is doused with a citrus syrup made from Seville Sour Oranges, Meyer Lemons, Bergamonts and Valencias, topped with pistachios and shredded coconut and Ginger ice cream (cashew based)
