Come and join us for a very fun gathering where we will cook up several amazing dishes and then sit down and share them, together. Learn stir frying techniques, braising, deep frying, and more in this hands on class celebrating some dishes from Sichuan and Cantonese Chinese traditions

Ma Po Tofu

A personal favorite! Tofu braised in a spicy sauce. Pass the rice!
Asparagus with black bean sauce

A seasonal delight, asparagus is blanched and then stir fried with fermented black beans, ginger, garlic and shaoshing.
Flat tofu "noodles" with sesame sauce
Entree
Flat tofu is a rarity but is made locally in Berkeley by Tofu Yu, and I am friends with the owner.
We will cut this into noodle shapes and toss it with a gingery sesame sauce
