A hands on class, learning a handful of really flavorful and easy to make dishes from some of China's amazing culinary traditions. We will be blanching, stir frying, braising, deep frying and more and then sit down and eat our creations.

Ma Po Tofu
A personal fave dish and some call it one of my signature dishes. Ma Po tofu is simply silken tofu braised in a spicy broth. The broth is very complex tasting with layers of various ingredients including several fermented ones.
Asparagus with black bean sauce
Small Plate
A wonderful spring dishe as asparagus is blanched and then stir fried with a savory black bean sauce.
Vegetable Chow Fun
Rice noodles stir fried with gai lan, sprouts and shitake.
Celery with peanuts

Chinese celery stir fried with toasted peanuts, flat tofu and seasoned with shaoshing and more
Bean Sprout Salad
