Come join us for a hands on cooking class. We will be preparing a handful of dishes from Thai culinary traditions. The mortar and pestle will be pulled out to pound out some curry paste and we will be stir frying, steaming, and lots more.

Panang Curry Paste
Small Plate
First we will make a panang curry paste from herbs, spices and vegetables.
Panang Pumpkin curry
Then we will add this paste to coconut milk, coconut sugar and soy sauce to make a Panang curry which we will cook pumpkin, potato and tofu in.
Pad Thai
Rice noodles will be stir fried with tofu, peanut butter, tamarind and more
Pumpkin fritters

These fritters are a huge hit on my catering gigs. We do a corn version in summer an a pumpkin version in winter, always to great success. These are spicy, sweet, crisp and hot out of the fryer and served with a sweet vinegar dressing
Green Papaya Salad

A famous and classic raw salad.
Ah Choy with Garlic

Some garlicky greens as ah choy (Chinese watercress) will be stir fried witha lot of garlic and fermented bean curd
