Come join us for a hands on cooking class, creating a handful of dishes from the amazing culinary traditions of Sichuan Province, China. Known for it s vibrant, spicy food, flavored with chili peppers, sichuan peppercorns (the numbing spicy effect known as Ma La), star anise and so much more. Sichuan food is wonderful for cold weather with its warming effect from the spices.

Sichuan Chili Oil

We will make a big batch of Sichuan chili oil an all of the guests will take a jar home with them!
Sichuan Hot Pot
One of the classic dishes of Sichuan Province is the hot pot. Glowing red in color with garlic, chili, peppercorns and a slew of different spices, creating a rich broth that we will cook tofu, flat tofu, greens, eggplant and more in.
Ma Po Tofu
The signature dish of Sichuan Province; a deceptively simple dish of silken tofu braised in sauce. The sauce is quite complex and flavorful, making this one of the world's greatest dishes!
Garlicky Greens
Small Plate
A wonderful side dish, all year around. Greens are blanched and then stir fried with shaoshing, fermente bean curd and a lot of garlic
