In this hands on class we will make a handful of delightful dishes and explore several cooking techniques including: blanching, stir frying, deep frying and braising.

We will make a very flavorful stock that will be the base of the rest of the class and meal
Tofu with Choy Sum Soup
A very simple yet flavorful soup featuring soft tofu and fresh greens.
Ma Po Tofu
Entree
A signature dish of Sichuan cuisine and one of my personal favorite dishes. Silken tofu is braised in a very flavorful, spicy sauce.
Hot and Sour Sweet Potato Noodles
Small Plate
Another classic dish from Sichuan province. Sweet potato noodles in a spicy sauce with peanuts and pickled vegetables.
Asparagus with black bean sauce

Fresh asparagus, blanched and then stir fried with black bean sauce
