In this hands on class we will prepare a handful of boldly flavored dishes from Sichuan province, China.

Smashed Cucumber Salad
Appetizer
A fun dish to make as it is always fun to smash a vegetable!
Salt and Pepper Tofu
Entree
Firm tofu is crusted, fried and then stir fried with garlic, chili peppers and tossed with sichuan peppercorns!
Celery with Peanuts
Small Plate
a wonderful side dish. Chinese celery (thinner and less fibrous than most celery) is blanched and then stir fried with peanuts, garlic and ginger.
Chinese potato salad
Small Plate
This is not your Karen's potato salad! Out with the raisins and in with the chili oil, garlic and black vinegar!
Eggplant with sesame sauce
Small Plate
a personal fave dish! Eggplant is steamed and then marinated in a very flavorful sesame sauce
