In this hands on cooking class, we will make one of the worlds greatest street foods, Doubles from Trinidad.
Trinidad cuisine is an amazing blend of culinary traditions combining influences from West Africa, India, Southern China, the indigensous Arawak and Taino peoples and a wide array of other influences of immigrants to this island.
Doubles consist of barra (friend spiced bread), topped with chana (chickpea curry), tamarind chutney, hot sauce and cucumber chutney.
We will be making every aspect of doubles in the class and then we will all eat some doubles!
