I’m Phong from Hue in central Vietnam. While many chefs identify as self-taught, I learned from several great chefs in my life. Using dishes shared with my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and our in-laws, my cuisine combines the distinctions of the North, South and Central Vietnam.

I’ve been cooking for 20 years for friends and family, especially outdoors and while camping in my spare time whenever possible. 10 years of industry experience and working in Vietnamese restaurants for 6 years have given me the opportunity to study and refine the dishes from my country.
