Chef Luis "Luigi" Pozos' love for Italy runs deep: from his great-grandfather's roots in Tuscany to a stint running his own Italian trattoria. Today Luis is an active member of the Mercado community as the owner of Don Churro.
Luis believes Valentine's Day is best spent with the one you love, good food and of course wine. To celebrate he's cooking an trattoria-inspired meal of Italian comfort fare with his familia. Four courses, Italian wines for purchase and live romantic music. Can you feel the love?

To start our romantic meal a fresh salad of mixed lettuces, tomato, black olive and house Italian dressing. Finished with shaved parmesan.
Antipasti - Scampi Vino Blanco
Small Plate
Plump tail-on shrimp sauteed in melted butter, virgin olive oil, garlic and red pepper flakes, finished with Italian white wine and cream.
Entrata - Pollo Dello

A modern nod to the Italian trattorias of yesteryear: chicken breast cooked in marsala wine with sauteed mushrooms, fresh spinach, mozzarella cheese and garlic. Served with fresh fettuccine.
Dolci - Tiramissu

The Italian classic. Ladyfinger biscuits are soaked in espresso, then delicately layered with mascarpone frosting flavored with cocoa and a hint of liquor.
