Sope, Enchilada Potosina y Sopa Hongo
Small Plate
To start, an assortment of small bites with bold flavors: miniature sope with squash and pumpkin flower, enchilada potosina with chile guajillo served with bean puree and avocado and a sopa hongo with epazote.
Chile Nogada
Poblano chili stuffed with picadillo, a vibrant mixture of beef, spices, fruit and pine nuts. The dish is topped with a walnut sauce called nogada, and pomegranate seeds.
Frappe de Tuna (Prickly Pear Ice)
A light refreshing end to the meal that contains doesn't contain tuna fish! Prickly pear fruit (aka tuna) lends this smooth icy dessert a unique flavor that is described as a cross between watermelon and bubble gum.
