ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. 100% of ticket sales are for Covid-19 relief, to financially support the individual class instructor, their restaurant staff, or a charity of their choice. --- This experience will be building on the previous 3 Classic Whiskey Cocktails class, but can absolutely be a standalone experience for those of you just joining! We're taking your home bar skills up a notch! This is a deep dive into the rich history, ingredients and essentials around the Boulevardier, Penicillin, and Vieux Carre. Cocktail & spirits expert Prairie Rose will share the rich history and cocktail folklore behind each of these underrated classics. She'll break down the recipes, discuss the ingredients, and go over essential bar tools and glassware that you'll need for all three of these cocktails. You'll get some tips on technique, and learn some tricks for a flawless execution. Throughout the live class, you'll get a chance to interact, ask questions, and discuss how to put your own unique twist on these classics. Ingredients: Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Campari Garnish: Orange Peel Ice Tools: Mixing Glass, Mixing Spoon, Strainer Glassware: Rocks Glass

Ingredients: Blended Scotch, Lemon Juice, Honey-Ginger Syrup*, Islay Single Malt Scotch Garnish: Candied Ginger Ice Tools: Shaker, Strainer Glassware: Rocks Glass *Combine 1 cup of honey with one 6-inch peeled and sliced piece of ginger root with 1 cup of water in a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Refrigerate overnight, then strain, discarding the solids.
