APPLE CINNAMON OVERNIGHT BOWLS

The best part of waking up is seeing that your overnight oats are ready.

Ingredients

APPLE WARM TOPPING

  • 2 red apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup and 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

OAT BOWL

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • Honey
  • Granola

Steps

  1. Slice red apples into ½-in. cubes.
  2. In a medium size saucepan, place the apple cubes, lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir and let it macerate for 10 minutes.
