APPLE CINNAMON OVERNIGHT BOWLS
The best part of waking up is seeing that your overnight oats are ready.
Ingredients
APPLE WARM TOPPING
- 2 red apples
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup and 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
OAT BOWL
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- ¼ cup blueberries
- Honey
- Granola
Steps
- Slice red apples into ½-in. cubes.
- In a medium size saucepan, place the apple cubes, lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir and let it macerate for 10 minutes.
