Asian Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

Asian Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

  • 16 oz minced pork
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 4 large cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 spring onion, greens too, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 8 large napa cabbage leaves

Sauce

  • 2/3 cup hoisin
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Serve With

  • Jasmine rice
  • Pickled vegetables (sliced carrot/radish)
  • Spring onions

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Bring a large pan of water to a simmer. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 3 to 4 minutes until soft and pliable, then rinse under cold water, drain and pat dry.
