Bacon and Egg Bowls

The best of breakfast served in a delicious and crispy bread bowl!


  • 9 ounces thickly sliced bacon, roughly chopped
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 4 round burger buns or Kaiser rolls
  • 1/2 cup Gruyère cheese, grated


  1. In a pan over medium heat, fry the bacon until crispy.
  2. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Set aside.
