  • 12 slices bacon, thick-cut
  • 3 to 4 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 9 slices cheddar cheese, mature
  • Special Equipment:
  • 6-inch cake pan
