Ingredients
Baklava
- 40 phyllo sheets
- 1 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup pistachios
- chopped4 ½ cups walnuts 1/3 cup granulated white sugar 1 tbsp ground cinnamon ¼ tsp ground cardamom For the syrup: 2 ½ cup granulated white sugar 1 ½ cup water 2/3 cup honey 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp ground cinnamon ¼ tsp ground cloves 1 tbsp orange blossom
Filling
- 4 ½ cups walnuts
- 1/3 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
Syrup
- F2 ½ cup granulated white sugar
- 1 ½ cup water 2/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1 tbsp orange blossom
Steps
- Place one layer of phyllo sheet at the bottom of the mold and paint it with melted butter.
- Place a second layer on top and brush again.
