Biscuit Donuts
In this episode, you don’t even need to turn on your oven! From a jaw-dropping cake hack, to fried biscuit donuts, you won’t believe what you can do with pre-made desserts from the supermarket. Mia will show hacks and great tips for any home-baker!
Ingredients
Donuts (Full recipe)
- 1 can of 8 Biscuits
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 2 tbsps Milk
- 2 cups Freeze dried strawberries
- 1 cup Freeze dried blueberries
Glaze
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 2 tbsps Milk
- 2 cups Freeze dried strawberries (or whatever chosen fruit)
Steps
- Heat enough oil to fill a small pot or fryer about 2 inches up the sides with oil, or a small electric fryer to 350F, you can use a candy thermometer to track the temperature if using a pot.
- Remove the biscuits from the can and place them on a parchment lined sheet tray. Carefully press them out just slightly and take a small round cutter to remove the center of the biscuits, just like a donut would look.
