Ingredients
- Brats:
- 6 bratwurst
- 2 (12 oz) cans pilsner beer
- 3 large onion, julienned
- ¼ cup butter, divided
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Cheddar Onion Dip:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup cream cheese, room temp
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 scallion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pickled Mustard Seed:
- ¼ cup mustard seed
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 hot dog style pretzel buns
- 2 cups honey mustard onion pretzel bites

- Heat the vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan just to dissolve the sugar and salt.
