Chicken Parm Meatball Pull-Apart Sub

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons fast action yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Meatballs

  • 1 pound skinless chicken thigh meat, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • Big handful of basil leaves, ripped up
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Marinara Sauce

  • 1 (16-ounce) can of tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Chicken Parm Meatball Pull-Apart Sub

  • 8 ounces grated mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1/4 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Few leaves basil, rolled and sliced very thinly

Steps

  1. Mix together the flour and salt then mix in the yeast. Add the olive oil, then enough water to bring it together into a soft dough.
  2. Knead by hand until smooth and silky, or in a stand mixer for 5 minutes.
