Chocolate Samoa Cake Donuts

One of your favorite Girl Scout Cookies is now in fluffy, chocolatey donut form.


Samoa Mixture

  • 250 ounce bag of caramel, unwrap all of the caramels, set aside
  • 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut, toasted
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Samoa Cake Donuts

  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 175 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 225 grams caster sugar
  • 175 grams unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 175 milliliters milk
  • 200 grams melted chocolate


  1. Melt unwrapped caramels and milk in a medium mixing bowl for 1 minutes, remove from microwave and stir, then place back in microwave for 30 seconds and stir again.
  2. Repeat process until caramel is completely melted and smooth, stir in salt and toasted coconut.
