Cinnamon Roll Cake

Picture this: a cinnamon roll... but it's also a cake! 🤯

Ingredients

Cake

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • ⅔ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 ½ tablespoons butter, melted
  • Special equipment: 12 by 10-inch baking sheet tray

Cinnamon Frosting

  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 3 to 4 cups confectioners sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar

Cinnamon Sugar Swirl

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 320 F.
  2. Grease and line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
