Crab Apple Sour Cream Bread Tarts

Serve with ice cream and this apple tart will be a crowd pleaser.


  • 6 crab apples
  • 6 small pats of butter
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Cinnamon
  • Mint


  1. Cut off the tops of each apple and scoop out the seeds with a small spoon. Put a small pat of butter into the apple cups and cover with the apple tops.
  2. Cut out circles with the bread slices and flatten them out. Moisten one side with melted butter and press them butter-side down into muffin tins.
