Ingredients
DOUGH
- 2 2/3 cups bread flour
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 2/3 cup milk
- ½ butter, softened
- 4 tsp dried yeast
BUTTER BLOCK
- 2 cups butter, softened
EGG WASH
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp milk
Steps
- Combine milk, granulated white sugar and yeast in a large bowl.
- Let it rest for 20 min for the yeast to activate.
