Ingredients

DOUGH

  • 2 2/3 cups bread flour
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 2/3 cup milk
  • ½ butter, softened
  • 4 tsp dried yeast

BUTTER BLOCK

  • 2 cups butter, softened

EGG WASH

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp milk

Steps

  1. Combine milk, granulated white sugar and yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Let it rest for 20 min for the yeast to activate.
