Dark Chocolate Truffles

‘Tis the jolly season of giving, but this year, there will be no more struggles in making your list and checking it twice. Frankie’s festive, budget-friendly treats are the sweetest way to tell your friends and family you love them.

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 16 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup very finely chopped walnuts

Steps

  1. Add the heavy cream, cinnamon, chocolate and salt to a heat proof bowl. Place over a pot of simmering water and stir until the chocolate is melted. Place plastic wrap flush on top of the chocolate and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  2. Using a tablespoon measure to scoop the chocolate and roll in your hands to form smooth balls. Roll half of the truffles in walnuts and the rest in cocoa powder.
