Deep-Fried Shrimp with Homemade Tartar Sauce

What's not to love about a hearty shrimp fritter topped with an eggy cream sauce?

Ingredients

Deep-Fried Shrimp

  • 200 grams shrimp
  • 1/4 onion, minced
  • 3 stalks green onions, chopped
  • Oil for cooking
  • Flour
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • Panko
  • Seasoning: 3 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 egg, 1 teaspoon sake

Tartar Sauce

  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 gherkins, chopped
  • 5 grams butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Steps

  1. Cut shrimp into small pieces. Combine with onions and green onions.
  2. Add in all seasoning ingredients and mix well with a spoon.
