Easter Meringue Nests

Meringue Nests are a delicate dessert that can be made for upcoming Easter and everybody will be delighted. Crunchy on the outside and soft inside these nests completely melt in your mouth. Filled with whipped cream or your favorite filling, topped with either egg shape candies or fruits makes them an impressive dessert for any occasion.


  • 4 egg whites (130g), room temperature
  • 1 cup (200 grams) caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 grams) vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Food coloring of choice
  • 2/3 cup (200 grams) whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon (10 grams) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 grams) vanilla extract
  • Egg shaped candies


  1. Preheat oven to 175 F (80C).
  2. Whip egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar and whip until firm peaks form. Add vanilla extract and food color if used and mix to combine.
