Fluffy & Chewy Mochi

Have you tried Mochi yet? You won't regret it


  • 6 sliced mochi
  • 50ml water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp potato starch
  • 15g butter
  • Potato starch (for dusting), as needed


  1. Place sliced mochi in a bowl. Add water, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for about 7 minutes at 500W.
  2. Remove the wrap and stir until the mochi is well mixed.
