French Toast Pigs in a Blanket
Your pigs deserve a yummier, more flavorful blanket.
Ingredients
- 8 breakfast sausages
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 4 slices of white bread
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Icing sugar
- Maple syrup
Steps
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausages until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside on a plate.
- Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Trim each slice of bread into a 2' X 4' rectangle and then flatten using your fingers or a rolling pin.
