Fresh Fruit Tart
A simple but beautiful and delicious tart! This dessert is perfect if you’re short on time, but need a stand-out dessert!
Ingredients
- 3 cups shortbread cookies, crumbled into very fine crumbs
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 20 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest and juice of 1 1/2 lemons
- Your favorite fruit
Steps
- Place the shortbread cookies and butter into a bowl and stir together with a fork until large crumbs appear.
- Press evenly into a pie dish, then freeze for 20 minutes. Set aside.
