Johnny Zone'S Fried Chicken Lollipops With Alabama White Sauce

Ingredients
Alabama White Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon powdered garlic
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- ½ teaspoon celery seeds
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Seasoned Flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Chicken Lollipops
- 12 chicken wing drummettes
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons smoked paprika
- 3 tablespoons seasoned flour
- 1 ½ cup crisco
- 1 ½ cup canola oil
Steps
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
