Katsu curry
Ingredients
CURRY
- 1 tbsp oil
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 carrots, slices
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp curry powder or paste
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 cups broth
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
KATSU
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 1 cup panko
- 1 tsp sal
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 lb pork meat
- Oil to fry
- 1 cup cooked rice
Steps
- In a sheet pan with hot oil, add garlic, ginger and onion, cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the curry paste, sugar, broth, water, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch, stir well.
