Miso Brown Butter Pasta

Miso is for more than just soup! Just a dollop mixed with brown butter and pasta will be your new favorite quick-fix meal.


  • 6 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons red miso paste
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup parmesan, grated
  • Chopped parsley to taste
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Cook spaghetti to al dente, according to package instructions. When cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain.
  2. In a pan on medium heat, melt butter and stir occasionally.
