Orange-Yellow / Onion Skins
Color your eggs the safe and easy way with onion skins, red cabbage, blueberries, beets and turmeric.
Ingredients
- Yellow onion skins
- Raw eggs
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
Steps
- Wrap onion skins around raw eggs, covering the entire egg. Wrap tightly with cheesecloth, gather ends, and secure with string.
- Bring water and vinegar to a boil in a small pot set over medium-high heat. Gently place prepared eggs in pot, and boil 30 minutes.
