Pear Galette

Ingredients
- 3 pears
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/2 cup apricot jam
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 egg, for wash
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Steps
- Remove the puff pastry from the wrapping and place onto floured surface.
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly, to remove the creases and make it just a touch thinner and place it onto a parchment lined baking tray.
